Select Social Protection sub-Committee to consider Civil Registration (Amendment) Bill 2014

The Dáil Select sub-Committee Social Protection will meet tomorrow for Committee stage consideration of the Civil Registration (Amendment) Bill 2014.

4 November 2014

The Minister of State at the Department of Social Protection, Kevin Humphreys, TD, will be in attendance.

The Bill seeks to amend the Civil Registration Act 2004 by providing for a wide range of issues relating to the registration of life events in the State that have been identified since the passing of that Act, and to streamline the service to the general public.

The meeting takes place at 1pm tomorrow Wednesday 5 November in Committee Room 3, LH 2000. The meeting can be viewed online here.
