Sub-Committee meeting to consider 2015 revised estimates for public services

The Select sub-Committee on Public Expenditure and Reform will tomorrow consider the 2015 revised estimates for public services with Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform Brendan Howlin TD and Minister of State Simon Harris TD.

Engagement will commence with scrutiny of the Estimates for the Office of Public Works, which amounts to almost €370 million, with Minister of State Harris at 2pm:

At 4:30 pm, the Committee will meet with Minister Howlin to consider the following Estimates:

  • Vote 11 (Public Expenditure and Reform) - €40.6 million;
  • Vote 12 (Superannuation and Retired Allowances) – €370.0 million;
  • Vote 14 (State Laboratory) - €8.0 million;
  • Vote 15 (Secret Service) - €1.0 million;
  • Vote 16 (Valuation Office) €9.1 million;
  • Vote 17 (Public Appointments Service) - €8.2 million;
  • Vote 18 (Shared Services) - €39.0 million;
  • Vote 19 (Office of the Ombudsman) -  €8.7 million,  and
  • Vote 39 (Office of Government Procurement) - €19.0 million.

This meeting takes place tomorrow Wednesday 11 February in Committee Room 4, LH 2000, commencing at 2pm.
