5 DFómh 2015, 16:15

The Joint Committee on Finance, Public Expenditure & Reform will tomorrow meet with officials from the Department of Finance to consider the macroeconomic forecast in the context of Budget 2016.

05th October 2015

The meeting will commence at 5.00 pm in Committee Room 4 tomorrow, Tuesday, 6th October 2015.

Chairman of the Committee, Liam Twomey T.D., said “This is an important and timely briefing from Department Officials who will present to us their informed statistical overview of how the Irish economy is performing. With Budget 2016 to be announced next week this macroeconomic forecast will provide Committee Members with an update across a variety of economic indicators. As the economy recovers, it will afford us a chance to consider the growth risks that could lie ahead.”
