The Joint Committee on Finance, Public Expenditure & Reform will tomorrow meet with Minister of State at the Department of Finance, Simon Harris T.D., to consider a motion on the transfer of proceeds from the sale of the State’s shareholding in Aer Lingus.

06th October 2015

The meeting will commence at 4.30 pm in Committee Room 4 tomorrow, Wednesday, 7th October 2015.

Chairman of the Committee, Liam Twomey T.D., said “This motion involves the transfer of over €335m from the Central Fund to the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund as a result of the sale of the State’s shareholding in Aer Lingus and so the opportunity to engage with Minister Harris is a welcome one.”

Committee proceedings can be viewed live here.

Committee proceedings can also be viewed on the move, through the Houses of the Oireachtas Smartphone App, available for Apple and Android devices.
