Minister Eoghan Murphy to address Housing Committee on homeless figures

Minister for Housing, Eoghan Murphy TD, will tomorrow brief the Joint Committee on Housing, Planning and Local Government on the ongoing situation over the categorisation of homeless figures.

Committee Chairperson, Maria Bailey TD, said today, “The Committee looks forward to engaging with Minister Murphy tomorrow on the issues surrounding homelessness figures. It is important all members of the committee and the wider public are on the same page when speaking about categorisation of homeless figures because behind every number is a person who is vulnerable."

The meeting will start at 5pm in Committee Room 1, Leinster House
