The Joint Committee on Communications, Climate Action and Environment will tomorrow commence its Detailed Scrutiny of the Microgeneration Support Scheme Bill 2017, a Private Members Bill (PMB) sponsored by Brian Stanley TD.
Representatives will appear from:
• The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland;
• Tipperary Energy Agency;
• Friends of the Earth Ireland.
Committee Chair, Hildegarde Naughton TD, said, “Microgeneration offers opportunities for climate protection as well as for local business growth and community engagement. The Committee is pleased to begin its Detailed Scrutiny of Deputy Stanley’s bill.”
Prior to Detailed Scrutiny, the Committee will conduct Scrutiny of f EU Legislative Proposals: Schedule B: (2019) 11, (2019) 52, (2019) 54, (2019) 82.
The meeting will start at 4pm in Committee Room 2, Leinster House.
