Joint Committee on Health to meet for discussion on the issues related to addressing both Long Covid and Monkeypox

The Committee will hear submissions from representatives from the Health Service Executive.

Speaking ahead of the meeting, Committee Cathaoirleach Deputy Seán Crowe TD said “we’ll take this meeting as an opportunity to get updated on the issues related to addressing Long Covid and Monkeypox. The Committee will look to get an in-depth assessment of the Monkeypox situation following the establishment of the strategic advisory group on Monkeypox by the Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly earlier this summer.”
