Joint Committee on Transport and Communications to discuss the Aviation Sector with IATA Director General Willie Walsh.

The meeting will hear from Mr Willie Walsh, Director General of International Air Transport Association.

Committee Cathaoirleach Deputy Kieran O’Donnell TD said: “Given his previous roles as chief executive of Aer Lingus, British Airways and IAG, and now as Director General of the IATA, the Committee looks forward to receiving an update from Mr Willie Walsh on the Aviation Sector and to gain invaluable insight on how the industry is responding to current challenges and how Ireland can best meet these.”

The Joint Committee on Transport and Communications has 14 Members, nine from the Dáil and five from the Seanad.
