Joint Committee on Health meet for discussion on electronic records in healthcare

Speaking ahead of the meeting, Committee Cathaoirleach Seán Crowe TD said that “the existence of comprehensive electronic records is necessary to facilitate speedy access to personal health information regardless of location or setting.  It is a necessary element in our efforts to improve the efficiency of health care and improve the experience for the patient”.
