Joint Committee on Health to meet to discuss issues relating to the implementation of Sláintecare reforms

Speaking in advance of the meeting, Committee Cathaoirleach Seán Crowe TD said that “a number of significant steps in implementing the Sláintecare reform have been made, and these are welcome. However, these represent only the beginning of a long process of introducing the required reforms, and very much more will be required to achieve the vision of Sláintecare. Successful implementation of all of the reforms will require, as a matter of priority, political commitment, resources and leadership over an extended period.”
