Joint Committee on Health to meet to discuss the implementation of Sláintecare reforms.

Speaking in advance of the meeting, Committee Cathaoirleach Seán Crowe TD said that “tomorrow’s meeting is the latest in a number of meetings that our Committee has had with the significant stakeholders involved in implementing the Sláintecare reforms. While initial steps in the process are being taken and are welcomed, it represents the beginning of a long process of introducing the required reforms, and we are aware that very much more will be required to achieve the vision of Sláintecare.

We know that the successful implementation of all of the reforms requires political commitment, resources and leadership and we, as a Committee, will continue the valuable dialogue with all involved to provide transparency on the progress.”
