The Joint Committee on Health will meet tomorrow, Wednesday, 10th May for Pre-Legislative Scrutiny of the General Scheme of the Health Information Bill 2023 with officials from the Department of Health at 9:30am in Committee Room 2 of Leinster House.
The purpose of the Bill is to provide for the collection, use and sharing of health information to support improved care and treatment of patients, greater innovation in the health service, and improved public confidence in the service.
The meeting in Committee Room 2 can be viewed live on Oireachtas TV.
Committee proceedings can also be viewed on the Houses of the Oireachtas Smartphone App, available for Apple and Android devices.
