Committee on Budgetary Oversight to meet for discussion on Report of Section 481 – Film Tax Credit and the progression of the Committee’s recommendations

Speaking ahead of the meeting Committee Cathaoirleach Barry Cowen TD said “Following our publication of the Report on the section 481 Film tax credit in May last year, we welcome officials from the Departments of Finance, Enterprise, Trade and Employment and Tourism to our meeting this evening. In the Report, the Committee brought forward 14 recommendations which cover a number of themes and policy areas for which responsibility lies across the 3 Departments attending.

We will look to get first-hand information from the Departments on how our recommendations have been received and progressed since publication of the Report.”
