Joint Committee on Transport and Communications to meet with Transport Infrastructure Ireland for discussion on large scale capital projects

The Joint Committee on Transport and Communications will meet tomorrow, Wednesday, 14th February 2024 with representatives from Transport Infrastructure Ireland for a discussion on large scale capital projects at 1:30pm in Committee Room 2 of Leinster House. 

Speaking ahead of the meeting, Committee Leas-Chathaoirleach Senator Gerry Horkan said: “We welcome Transport Infrastructure Ireland to our meeting tomorrow. TII is tasked with connecting Ireland’s people and places by providing transport infrastructure and services.

“Our Committee looks forward to this engagement on their operations and large scale capital projects and we will welcome TII’s perspectives on their challenges in the provision of new roads, rail and Greenways and the maintenance of the existing network.”

 

The meeting in Committee Room 2 can be viewed live on Oireachtas TV.

The Joint Committee on Transport and Communications  has 14 Members, nine from the Dáil and five from the Seanad.
