The Committee on Budgetary Oversight will meet today, Wednesday 15th May to resume engagement on the indexation of the Taxation and Social Protection System with Officials from Department of Finance, the Department of Social Protection and representatives from the Revenue Commissioners at 5:30pm in Committee Room 2 of Leinster House.
Speaking ahead of the meeting Committee Cathaoirleach Barry Cowen TD said “Our meeting this evening resumes discussion on the recommendations contained in the Report we published on the Indexation of the Taxation and Social Protection System. We will again look to the representatives attending for insight and updates on the recommendations we put forward in the Report which can be read in full here.”
