Some of Ireland’s leading experts on Blockchain made a presentation on the technology to a remote meeting of the Oireachtas Friends of Science and Technology today.
The presentation was led by Professor Joyce O’Connor, co-founder and chair of BlockW and member of the Blockchain Ireland steering committee, with members of the BlockW steering committee and people using Blockchain technology in business. BlockW is a female-led organisation with a mission to provide an inclusive forum for showcasing Blockchain applications and use cases and demonstrate industry and sector relevance and the unique and defining features of the technology to all.
