The Oireachtas ISL team and the Centre for Deaf Studies in TCD have been working together over the last year to develop a comprehensive ISL glossary of parliamentary terms.
More than 80 terms have been defined; some signs are already in use within the deaf community and some are completely new.
We invite all ISL users to examine the glossary of parliamentary terms and send their feedback anonymously via our survey. We will collate all feedback received and share the findings with the Centre for Deaf Studies later in 2022.
