Oireachtas Committee to meet with representatives from Ireland’s Future

The Joint Committee on the Implementation of the Good Friday Agreement will hear from representative from Ireland’s Future at a meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, 1 June in Leinster House, Committee Room 3 at 9:30 am.

Speaking before the meeting, Committee Cathaoirleach Fergus O’Dowd TD said: “ ‘Ireland’s Future’ was established to advocate, promote, and to have those very important discussions about Ireland’s future, including the possibility and viability of new constitutional arrangements on the Island of Ireland.”

The Cathaoirleach added: “The Committee looks forward to hearing from ‘Ireland’s Future’, and having a debate on how a possible new Ireland is developing and progressing and what challenges do they foresee post-Brexit.”
