Joint Committee on Transport and Communications to meet for engagement with Mr Bryan Bourke, Chairperson Designate of AirNav Ireland (Irish Air Navigation Service)

The Joint Committee on Transport and Communications will meet today, Wednesday, 8th November to discuss the Irish Air Navigation Service at 1:30pm in Committee Room 2 of Leinster House. 

The Committee will engage with Mr Bryan Bourke, Chairperson Designate of Irish Air Navigation Service trading as AirNav Ireland (AirNav).

Speaking ahead of the meeting, Committee Leas-Chathaoirleach Senator Gerry Horkan said: “We welcome the Chairperson of Irish Air Navigation Service - AirNav Ireland, Mr Bryan Bourke to our meeting today. Our Committee looks forward to this initial engagement with Mr Bourke and look forward to future meetings with AirNav in order to continue our well-established relationships with the major stakeholders in the Irish Aviation sector. We will take this opportunity to discuss with Mr Bourke the plans and strategies that he intends to bring to the position and we will welcome his perspectives on the challenges that he faces in his role.”

The Joint Committee on Transport and Communications has 14 Members, nine from the Dáil and five from the Seanad.
